Professional Editing

Individuals and organizations hire me as an editor or literary mentor to prepare their work for publication. With self-publishing exploding as a means of finding readers, there is an increasing demand for editors and literary mentors not affiliated with any particular publishing house.

Book Projects

I can also provide content-level revisions, copy-edits, and consults on book projects. With self-publishing exploding as a means of finding readers, there is an increasing demand for editors and literary mentors not affiliated with any particular publishing house.

Literary Mentor

Having been through the MFA mentorship process myself, I can essentially offer clients a simulacrum of that process for a fraction of the cost of a 2 year masters program.

Granted, the experience doesn’t come with a degree at the end, but it offers similar results: an intense one-on-one mentor relationship from an educated and experienced writer whose goal and job it is to help the client produce their best possible work, and prepare it for publication.

Of course, not all clients need or want this extended working relationship. In that case, I can do simple revisions and edits without intensive content feedback, too.

Let me know if you have an upcoming book project, and I’d be happy to connect and see how I can help.
